Your team got the better of the boys from the Pacific Northwest in the big game. Many of your star players played like the best professional athletes out there, but there's a problem. They aren't pros yet; there are rules governing amateur sport. The school that has been sanctioned before is going to be again. It's just a matter of time.
It's going to stink for the 40 other kids on the team when they get called in their office jobs 5 years from now to be told that they are no longer champs because their college team paid off a couple of dudes who will be in the NFL and don't give a shit.
Tonight is the greatest night in the life of a bunch of young men who are never gonna make the Show and a mere stepping stone for 3 or 4.
