Truth Is Funnier Than Fiction : Drunk Dialed-In
I have friends who are REALLY looking for spouses, but this Ohio woman found out the hard way that looking for love everywhere isn't the wisest thing.
57 year old Audrey Scott spent 3 days in the slammer for repeatedly calling 911 to ask for a husband. No, not her missing husband, A husband. After the operator hung up on what she thought was a crank, Ms. Scott called back 5 times.
The harassment was good for 3 days in the bucket with 7 more suspended, a year of probation, and a lifetime of embarrassment.
Never underestimate the stupid.

Sounds like she may have been under the understanding that the officer that they would be sending her would be her husband. Oh too funny, poor lady.
