Bacon-Related Post Of The Week

I'm still fascinated by an entire culture related to a food I've never consumed. If you've been paying attention over the years I've covered everything from Bacon Lube to Bacon Dental Floss and everything in between. I have many friends and friends of this blog who are serious lifelong devotees to sliced swine and anything related to it.
And some of these people are fashionable, or gay or fashionable and gay. So with this in mind I bring you this week's hogtacular creation : bacon that comes in rainbow colours.

Yes- red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. Not that I'm looking to be sued, but it is safe to say that the inventor knows all of the colours of the homo hog rainbow.

Invented by a graphic designer, this is real, edible coloured bacon that retains its tint even after cooking.  The "inventor" Neil Caldwell has come up with a way to dye bacon and preserve its fatty, smoky goodness with the prettiness. He is keeping a lid on how he has done this, which is a good idea because there is certainly a market for something like this.

For those who think this is odd there is designer label water, cereal, spices, and beer. So sidle up to the trough whenever Neil Caldwell gets his bacon masterpiece on the market and into your mouth.

Souuu-eeeeee!!!

  1. As much as I love bacon, the rainbow bacon looks nauseating.
